Is "The Rez Sisters" worthy!?!?!?! or nawww

I think "The Rez Sisters" is worthy of study because of it's complicated messages that make you think hard in order to figure out the main idea of the play. The play is also has a very balanced pace of comedy and tragedy. It is also interesting because it follows the lives of many characters instead of only one. "The Rez Sisters" has a very complicated vocabulary but in the end, it all makes sense.

  1. I don't think it should be worth of study, "because of it's complicated message" I don't think a book needs a complicated message in order for it to be worth our time, it just needs a good message or idea. But i do agree it sure was complicate most of the time!

    1. I love your comment, Lora. Just because something is complicated doesn't mean it is worthy of time. I wonder if the "simple" language that was used helped the play deliver its message in a clearer way? Or were the messages too complicated to figure out?

  2. yeah I also agree you needed to stop and think about what was going on in the play to get the implicit message a lot of the time, it made the students work hard to figure out the plays implicit message

  3. I agree that the play balances between tragedy and comedy. It's smart it keeps reader intrigued and interested to keep reading! Hopefully students figure out the deeper meaning and "complicated message" in the play after reading by relating to the characters.
